The Girls...
...are getting so big! Juliet is 3 1/2 and Ruby just turned 1. They get along really well together (thus far) and it amazes me how Juliet knows just what Ruby needs sometimes -- sometimes even better than I do. If Miss Ruby won't eat something from me -- more than likely she'll eat it if her big sis gives it to her. Out numbered already! Ruby is just starting to balance without holding on to anything; she is really proud of herself. Juliet starts tumbling in June and it will be fun to see her focus her energy into twirling herself around and around and learning how to do it without so many bruises! I swear girl looks like we beat her! Wild child.
Everyday livin...
What wonderfully fun yet tiring times! It has been an abnormally warm spring and we have been taking advantage of it! Ruby's birthday kicked it all off with one of the most bizarre 15 minute thunderstorms we've had since we've lived here! 15 minutes of crazy wind, hail, thunder and lightning and the kind of rain that makes you think people are standing outside pouring buckets of water on the windows ( I looked -- no one was doing it). The brief tempest left just as soon as it strted and took out all the power for most of Ruby's party! An odd & memorable day. :)
