Happy Autumn!

The Cow Car Caper

This was the first year that Juliet could ride the Cow Cars without me in the same seat...and look at how well she pulled one over on me. Notice her car is nice and roomy...and see how mine had me singing "fat man in a little coat"...it was a very bumpy ride.

P-Patch 2009

I think this is our 11th or 12th year going to the P-Patch at Sauvies Island. I talk big about trying a new place each year -- but we have it down to a system now and it so enjoyable. This year was no exception. It was so late in Oct that I thought everything would be rotten already, but there were fields and fields of gorgeous gords!

For Nana, with love

Juliet wanted to take a picture and show you her favorite dress you sent. Much love and thanks! xoxo

Mama's girls

15 Months!

The words are slowly coming...she has really been focusing on her physicality; running, climbing and general mayhem. She is in love with chickens, dogs and horses right now and her "quack" is the funniest thing ever.

Picture Day!!

Both Juliet and Ruby get to sport some new outfits thanks to Yauntie Momo. Thanks so much!

Juliet has just started the Japanese Immersion program at Richmond and is loving it. Great teachers and excellent school -- we are very lucky to be part of it. She has already been teaching (and correcting) us. Suki!

Ruby has also graduated to Toddler 1's and I am happy to report that she is no longer cannibalising other children. You never think it is going to be your kid... now she is being bitten. Got to love this age. It is a rough crowd. She does have her first boyfriend -- Declan is a happy-go-lucky boy and the two of them see each other and go crazy hugging, snuggling, and dancing. Very cute.

Beautiful Sound views...

A rainy, cold in your bones kinda day gives way for a beautiful evening sunset at Chuckanut Oyster Bar north of Arlington, WA.

Cha Cha Cha!

One of our very favorite neighborhood joints. Ruby enjoys some beans and rice.
